4th of July Place Setting

By  |  0 Comments

We have a fun show coming up on NBC WSLS 10 “Daytime Blue Ridge.” We are scheduled to air July 2nd. I have lots of fun ideas to share for the 4th of July holiday.  You will have to tune in to learn all about it!  However, I will give you a sneak peak and a fun idea you can get started on.

I had left over red & white striped Christmas wrapping paper. I love to use things until they have exhausted all purposes. I saw this and thought it would be perfect for my idea!  Why not use a pack of “Sparklers” as a place setting? They will serve dual purposes.

Wrap them in festive paper, tie them with ribbon, yarn or thread ( I used paper covered wire from the floral dept.) Add a navy blue star (simply cut out from cardstock,)  and write your guests name on it.  After dinner, they can light their own celebratory sparklers!

Supplies:
Sparkler packs
Red and White wrapping paper
Navy cardstock
scissors
tape
Ribbon, yarn or whatever you choose to tie it.

Easy, fun, creative!

Happy 4th of July!
